You will earn a Gold trophy if you make no mistakes, a Silver trophy if you make one mistake, and a Bronze trophy if you make two mistakes. You can play in a Casual Mode which crosses off the cells one by one, or the Advanced Mode, which only crosses off the remaining cells once the entire row and column have been filled in. You can delete filled-in or crossed-off cells by right-clicking the cell in Zen Mode, and you'll know you have completed a particular color correctly because a checkmark will appear on the color bubble. In Zen Mode, the numbers aren't crossed off but Mistakes aren't counted against you either, because chances are, you'll have to edit some of the cells as you switch between colors. The Zen Mode has returned for those who prefer to solve the griddlers without all the hand/flipper holding. The Penguins have had adventures from every genre imaginable and still nothing within the game itself changes or improves to hold my interest. JUST ANOTHER FANTASY MOSAICS GAME I used to love Fantasy Mosaics Games but I've grown weary of the penguin family drama after 48 games. Some updates and more creativity would surely bring the ratings back up. Would love to see a new family, preferably one with a better sense for decorating and some new types of mini-games.

The Penguin family doesn't add any "cute" to the series anymore. It is a good game but needs an overdue facelift.įantasy Mosaics has many devoted fans, I own 20 of these games but just had to call it quits. The minimal features work fine, never any tech issues. There are plenty of levels, all can be replayed, images are recognizable and labeled, challenge grows as the game progresses but not outlandishly, change game modes and tile choices whenever you like. There new devs on BFG now, with mosaic games that really outshine what you are offering. It is hard to remain a fan when you just ignore us. How about considering some of the reviewers' suggestions? Pennmom always comes up with some excellent ones. There is still no Save Feature which has been requested umpteen times, but that comes as no surprise.įantasy Mosaics has become "old hat", the devs need to come up with something new to keep it interesting and entertaining. the music is cheery and we have the same features and tools. The graphics are okay, there are 3 game modes. The 7 tile styles are pretty plain but it's fun to try them all. The pictures aren't as cute anymore and the colors aren't as vibrant. This series used to be one of my favorites. They are a nice escape from my usual HOPA games. Mosaic games, for me, are relaxing but challenging and it's fun to see the images emerge. There have been only a few changes since its beginning and I think they were color additions. It makes more sense to save the $$ and dig into the oldies. I feel no need to keep buying Fantasy Mosaics. The arrival of Number 48! Are we destined for 48 more?! It's Monday - It's Penguin Day! Nothing surprising about that ! What a shame, another dreary adventure with boring decorating, uncreative mini-games, leaving me to wonder if it will ever get any better.
